Nag's Head, Welling
FancyaPint?'s review...
You are never too far away from a pub in Welling, though all but a couple are mediocre. The Nags Head is a functional kind of place, but it's not one of the more characterful ones in the area. As a Greene King pub, they serve both regular IPA and IPA chilled, although the former was off on our visit and - it being subzero outside - we opted for Ruddle's instead. Food is served until 9pm, seven days a week, which ensures that a number of families attend with young children (although we understand that children are not permitted after the early evening). It's large, with plentiful seating, and the music blares from the many speakers dotted around the place. If you like cheap beer and a fuel stop in reasonable comfort, you'll like it.

How to find the Nag's Head pub
From Welling BR, go down the slope to the road at the bottom. Turn left and go to the end of the road. Then turn left onto Bellegrove Road. This eventually becomes Welling High Street. After around ten minutes' walk, you will see the A209 (Upper Wickham Lane) on the left. Continue a short way further along Welling High Street to the next left turn (Nags Head Lane), and the pub is at the junction.
