An otherwise unremarkable pub can suddenly take on a new appearance when it, by default, becomes the best place to drink in an otherwise barren area. Ultimately doing nothing wrong, it's a large open pub, with a raised seating area to one side. It's never totally full, nor empty, serves average but perfectly edible food, has a reasonable beer selection, and a large screen showing the usual football fixtures. Basically, it's a comfortable place for the locals, or those who have come down to visit the wonders of, er, Finchley Road.

Downstairs smells of urine and unhappiness, upstairs smells of old cigarettes and damp. The whole place looks like it's about to fall down. Moldering, desperate and unwelcoming. Avoid.
