This is one of those pubs we could have sworn we'd been in before, but maybe we've just been by it so many times that it feels familiar. Less than ten minutes from Clapham Junction, this one is worth the effort in our opinion. That said, one thing we keep forgetting when we go into a Geronimo Inns pub is that they provide table service - it's that continental thing we're still not quite used to. Don't get us wrong, they don't send you back to your table if you order at the bar, but the convenience factor takes a bit of getting used to. It's been reopened for a few months now and it feels like the staff are settling in and concentrating on the customers - which is what they should be doing. Great beer, a good menu which includes a daily curry (!) and the pork pie and sausage rolls which are fast becoming a signature of this chain. The decor is another obvious indicator, as it's tastefully done - although we didn't quite get the large jars of 'carrots' or the wall full of framed album covers from the 80s. But never mind, we still had a great time. All we can say is they've done it again!
