The Oakhill is situated in a small parade of shops between Beckenham and Bromley, and for the area it's a little bit different and we think a visit to here is really quite refreshing. The front bar is stylish and modern, the back is traditional and comfortable. It doesn't seem to get too busy, but there is always a lively enough atmosphere. Although the clientele all seem familiar with each other, newcomers will feel welcome too. You also can't complain about the range of bitters or wines although we haven't tried the food yet, the menu looked good. The three open fires make it lovely and warm for the winter, and for the summer - the garden is particularly pleasant (and they have barbecues). It's worth the walk out of the centre.

This has the potential to be a great pub, if one of the most expensive in Beckenham. Most of the problems have been sorted and the pizzas are great! The monthly Roasts & Records session on the second Sunday is the stuff of legend and long may it continue. With the recent departure of Chris the Guv'nor we will have to wait and see.
