Old Globe, Stepney
our final review

Astronomical objects abound in this area, what with the New Globe at Mile End, just up the road and Half Moon along the block, but, this pub, the Old Globe has precedence it is the oldest of them all. It's a lively, solidly local, local, not unfriendly, like some we could mention, offering all the amenities you could ask for - Charles Wells beer on the pumps, lagers, spirits etc, darts, pool, quizzes and Sky TV for the sport (and the music when there's nothing to watch). It offers a bit of something for everyone who lives hereabouts. Just the ticket.
Now a Ladbrokes

Turn left out of the tube station, it's just across the Globe Road at the traffic lights.
