This enormous pub and music venue used to be the Green Man pub once upon a time. Hence the even more gigantic roundabout over the M11 link road just outside its front door is still called the Green Man Roundabout and we can't really see it changing it's name to "the O'Neill's roundabout". As far as O'Neill's pubs go, this one is different in that it has live music - not just Irish music either - several nights a week. Serves a fair drop of Guinness - frankly we'd expect nothing less - Smithwick's Irish Red Ale (unique to O'Neill's apparently) as well as the normal lagers and wine. The clientele can be a bit off-putting, as they can appear a bit rough, but they don't take much notice if you keep yourself to yourself. If you like faux-irish pubs, then you'll probably like this one.
