This used to be great when it was the Philatelist and Firkin, it had a fantastic vibe back then, but after closing down, all the regulars moved on to other pubs and never returned when it reopened, the atmosphere it used to have has been totally lost. Now it's your usual O'Neils affair when it comes to drinks, food and décor and although it is huge it will get packed - on a Friday and Saturday night you'll have to fight your way to the bar and sometimes you'll have to queue to get in.Unlike the the old days when anyone was welcome it is now mainly frequented by "trendies". It is a lot more chilled out during the day though of course, and not a bad place to meet up if you are going out early - but you'll keep it brief. However, we should point out that if a very busy, very lively and loud venue is what you are looking for - it is probably the best of the bunch in Bromley, the music is reasonable and there is rarely trouble.
