Although Osmium has improved substantially since it opened in the summer of 2005, this rather standard swanky bar still sinks anonymously into the ocean of similar outlets in the Clapham/Battersea area. The interior is bright, colourful and reminiscence of a central London bar with its smooth fittings, leather bound booth areas and assortment of high priced lagers and cocktails. Its hardly surprising that in the evenings Osmium ups the music and invites in the DJs, although this is something of a contrast to the near silence that pervades during the daytime. However, while all this is nicely done, there is very little that sets this bar apart from anywhere else of its type, except for the fact that it has some of the most uncomfortably rigid metal stools every to grace our posteriors. Certainly all right for a visit if you like this kind of thing, but unlikely to become a noteworthy favourite.
