Pilot Inn, Charlton
FancyaPint?'s review...
Translated to Charlton by the magick of FaP's geographer, this Greenwich pub miraculously pops up in the middle of the modern (ie geometric) park which extends south from the O2 Arena. It is very convenient for the Greenwich Peninsula Ecology Park (recommended) and the Emirates Air Line (ditto, unless you lack a head for heights). The nearest Tube, North Greenwich, is less than 10 minutes' walk - and you won't regret it. Check out the secluded garden, especially on a sunny day. The local area appears deserted because they're all in the Pilot.
