It could well be that the place to be in Twickenham on a Sunday night is the quiz here, but somehow we doubt it. Reconfigured Young's pub that's basically a hotel bar for a travel tavern. Friendly enough staff, but hard to order a pint here without thinking you're an extra in an episode of "Crossroads".

Now called the Alexander Pope this place has been smartened up. Serving well kept Youngs and a guest ale it is a decent choice in all circumstances without being special. Food is prominent with a conservatory devoted to dining.
