We can't argue that this one doesn't try hard to be all things for all people, and maybe that's the problem. This is one of those pubs we'd like to love, but we still don't and it's probably down to the schizophrenic nature of the place - bar, restaurant and guest house with lots of add-ons like WiFi, conservatory and a roof garden to improve the experience. It's still a handy spot on the Portobello Road crawl, and they serve decent enough beer, but it doesn't do it for us.
