This used to be the White Hart pub. After a refit and redesign, it became a bar branded (somewhat pretentiously, with a heavy metal umlaut on the first "o", in this least pretentious of high streets) as "Potion". It's closed again, possibly for another refurbishment, possibly for good. If it reopens, and we're in the area, we'll probably get round to dropping by sometime to assess the new style.

It's a short (say five-minute) walk from Erith overground station, and even nearer to where buses terminate. It's in the quieter, northern part of the High Street, near the Playhouse theatre
