A hidden gem in Camden, this pub has it all. Beautiful interior, excellent service, well-kept ales and ciders, and lovely food. The prices are somewhat higher than average, but the quality matches - as attested by the multiple cask marque stickers and food awards. The serious diners are able to eat upstairs, leaving downstairs as a more traditional pub, complete with board games. And given the area, the fact that this pub is often quiet - especially on a Saturday afternoon - makes it an oasis for tired shoppers. The exception is the Sunday evening pub quiz (from 8pm) is a jolly affair and very popular. It starts filling up from 7pm so get there early to bag a table.
