While the outside of this pub across the road from Warren Street is pretty traditional looking (it's even been used in a period drama not so long ago), the interior is definitely in the vein of that modern pub style: wood floors, overstuffed furniture and a couple of plasma screens to edge things into the 21st century. It's one of those solid and consistent pubs that might not have you crossing London to visit, but given its proximity to Warren Street is never going to be short on punters at commuting times, and the clientele tends to be a little on the transient side. It also does the job as a handy meeting spot, certainly as a starting (or finishing) spot for a Fitzrovia pub crawl.

The bar stuff were REALLY rude and unfriendly. My friend who works nearby confirmed they're always pretty grouchy.

There are so many other interesting, cool and friendly pubs in this part of London, I'll not bother with this one again.
