Prince Regent, Herne Hill
FancyaPint?'s review...
The Prince Regent has recently undergone something of a transformation and is now (hurrah!) a jolly nice place to have a drink in what could be thought of as a less than salubrious area. While verging on middle-class gastropub territory, we were nonetheless impressed with the jugs of fresh flowers everywhere, swanky-looking dining area and tempting menu with a decent interior to boot. There are second-hand books for sale in aid of the local Green Party, and if all this is starting to sound a bit too right-on you can escape outside with a beer (they have quite a nice selection of real ales and Belgian lagers, if you like that sort of thing) and eavesdrop on the yummy mummies. All in all, a great place for a lazy Sunday lunch, and there's a good pub quiz too, we hear. We say: bravo! Well done that pub.

Great pub in a top location.
Drinks are excellent as is the food.
The food service is terrible and the manager has a serious attitude problem. No outside eating, only table service ( that takes ages to come) - real shame. Please sort it out!
