No need of apostrophes here: this is a no nonsense - and pretty scary - local's boozer. With a pub sign which looks like a budget supermarket logo from the 1980's, this low level 1960's style establishment (built on the site of a Victorian pub destroyed in the war) is as unappealing inside as it looks outside. Disco nights, a pool table and dart distractions aside, this pub - and indeed all the other terrible pubs on Falcon Road - aren't for the uninitiated or those seeking a quality pub experience. The addition of a car wash around the back just adds to the ambience, in our opinion.
