Well, it's smaller inside than we both expected and remember - it's not much bigger than a sitting room. Decorated around the several TVs with black and white photos ranging from Chaplin, to Marilyn, to Jimi, to the Beatles and a selection of more recent posters for bands like the Killers and West End shows, not to mention the scary mannequin in a '60s dress and bunny ears by the front door, it's eclectic to say the least. Barman was friendly enough and the locals just ignored us like they were ignoring each other. With a couple ales on taps, the drink selection is hardly going to set our world on fire, but it's adequate. We can't quite put our finger on it, but it just seemed a little cold to us. Oh, and the sign outside said 'food daily', but we couldn't see any sign of it inside.

We came across this pub on a Sunday walk through Kensington. It is a very stylish and cosy pub with the main bar on the ground floor and Dining Room come lounge on the first floor. The roast was delicious with house made Yorkshire puddings and crispy duck fat potatoes. You can tell that the owners have invested in this pub, with its new interior and well trained and friendly staff. I would highly recommend this Pub as a food destination as well as a nice place to have a drink.
