The Queen Adelaide is a large Young's pub that has played host to a younger crowd of drinkers for quite a while now. Since our last review, not entirely unsurprisingly, its gone rather upmarket, with an eating area and gastropub food prices now present; words like 'Charcuterie' now appear on the menu, along with an unnecessary 10% service change. There's a good selection of Young's ales, as you'd expect, but we challenge you to find anywhere else which describes Dry Blackthorn cider as having 'bushels of flavour'. Luckily, however, this linguistic pretension hasn't extended to the place being horribly stripped out yet; consequently the atmosphere is relaxed, with the bonus of a very nice garden, complete with 'jumbrellas'. Ultimately a decent upmarket pub, its one of the more pleasant places in the area.

honest friendly pub with good garden, tv showing sports and friendly staff. Most importantly a good range of beer and wine. Nothing remarkable, but one easiest locals I've ever had. Would recommend on a sunny day with the family or to meet a friend.
