A definite 5 from the BAPS crowd. great range of ales and the prospect of the couple settling kept us interested till later than planned.super atmosphere must recommend.

A real gem of a pub this, a rare proper pub serving proper pub food and pints. Popped in for my friend's comedy act at an open mic comedy night they have on Tuesdays and will definitely be returning! The interior is beautifully preserved and sympathetic to the old Victorian pub this once was, the beers are different than the normal pub offering with Konig Pilsner and Meantime on draft to name a few, the staff are strangely, for a London pub, friendly and the food is proper pub food like pork pies, steak pies, ploughman's etc. If you're sick of every pub being the same "gastro-trendy", then you should give this place a try.

This pub is closed! Attempted to make a pre-Scala gig visit to find the shutters down.
