This pub looks nice from outside and is best observed from there. Inside, it's a busy, pub full of teenagers drinking alcopops and groups of lads looking for fights.

This pub has been renamed the 'Royal Oak', which was its original name. It was also known as the 'Gateway' at one time. Harrow is a 'dormitory suburb': most residents work and relax in London and come home to sleep therefore social life in Harrow itself is a bit thin.

As has been said, this is a lovely looking pub, but that's all. It is frequented almost exclusively by youths and it caters for them.....not a decent beer in sight and seemingly nothing but luridly coloured bottles of fizzy pop with alcohol to get the fights started.

It is ideal for Harrow town centre....a soulless, worhtless, modern waste of time, effort and money.

Avoid.....ghastly pub full of ghastly "yoof".
