Red Lion, Liverpool Street
FancyaPint?'s review...
On good days, the Red Lion useful enough pub and it's a better place to meet people at Liverpool Street than some of the pubs closer to the station. As a result, it often gets pretty rammed at peak times, particularly commuter time (a bad part of the day), but it settles down afterwards. There's nothing here you won't find in the other pubs in the T & J Bernard mould, but it's a competent enough boozer and in this neck of the woods, that's a luxury. (Closed on weekends).

How to find the Red Lion pub
From Liverpool Street, go through the arcade of shops at station level. This takes you out into a plaza with a large rusty sculpture in the middle. Go past the rust and bear right along Eldon Street. It's about 150 metres up and on the corner on the right. From Moorgate, take the Moorgate exit and cross the street. Turn left and head up toward the lights. Turn right at the lights and you should see the pub about a 100 metres in front of you on the left.
