The Revolution chain can be seen scattered around many an urban area in many a city. Usually being, at best, fair to middling, this branch on Clapham High Street would have to perform very well to get anything like a strong rating. To be fair, it's a perfectly acceptable place to visit mid week. We were treated to friendly table service and some perfectly edible food at reasonable prices. The decor is vaguely glitzy, but not over the top and pretty comfortable. The beer choice is unsurprisingly generic mass market stuff, but then again this is a Vodka bar (we counted 26 flavours) and cocktails have a higher profit margin. Weekends here takes a turn for the worse however. Out goes the relaxed atmosphere and in comes the fashion police bouncers and the type of people who like to drink shots of bubblegum flavoured Vodka. Suffice to say, it's not for us.
