The very average Bar Ria lasted just over two and a half years before closing and it has now been replaced by the Roadtrip Bar and Deli. It actually looks rather nice inside, they do a turn in live music and have a late licence. We'll go to review it soon. In the meantime, we'll leave you with a quote from their website, which describes the place with the sort of unintended hilarity that ratchets up the bullshit-o-meter to 10. Apparently, "Roadtrip live bar is a roadside juke joint speakeasy smack bang in the gateway to Shoreditch, a new fresh and free hangout for cutting-edge British record labels." So yes, all you cutting edge record label types get down there now.
