Rosslyn Arms (ex Bar Room Bar), Hampstead
FancyaPint?'s review...
Once the very first Bar Room Bar, the Rosslyn Arms replaced it and has settled in over the past few years. Sat amongst the designer shops and delis on Rosslyn Hill, it fits in pretty well with it's surroundings, looking like an upmarket cafe. With outside seating to watch the monied world go by, a pleasant beer garden and reasonable pizzas on offer its understandably popular. The interior hasn't changed much from the days of its Bar Room Bar past and is best described as functional. The central bar is attractive enough, but makes the back area seem slightly gloomy. Don't expect great shakes from the beer selection either - it's pretty generic. Although not the olde worlde pub experience some might expect of Hampstead village, this shouldn't detract from what is a relaxed place to spend a pleasant afternoon.

Sadly the 2 for 1 pizzas are of random quality. We had 2 pamplonas. One was fine, the other somewhat burnt. We complained. Members of staff told us that one pizza was free so they would not replace it. The manager was apparently upstairs but did not come down. We drank up and left vowing never to return. Sad- it's not at all a bad bar otherwise.
