Sebright Arms, Barnet
11 Oct 2010
It appears that the Sebright Arms has a new owner and quite a change has been made since the arrival. Gone are all the sticky carpets and dark paintwork. In comes the hardwood flooring, lighter decor and a bistro (plus fresh flowers and newspapers). The beers are still from McMullins but hey nothing wrong with that. And there was a guest beer on each of our visits.
The new bistro has a small but excellent menu and an inexpensive wine list. The food is well prepared and served. Definitely worth a visit!

Excellent local pub serving good quality McMullens ales in a laid back friendly atmosphere. The pub has always been a fine local, but the brewery seem to be backing it with a recent much needed refurb. The new restaurant section has an excellent bistro style menu & I've yet to be disappointed. No Sky TV which is a massive bonus for me, especially as it's now got table football to satisfy my craving. Worth a visit, worth a detour.
