Sheephaven Bay (ex Mornington Arms), Camden
FancyaPint?'s review...
The Sheephaven Bay is an excellent pub, especially if you’re into watching sport on TV. It’s the local Celtic supporters club pub, so they usually get first dibs on the telly, but there are plenty of screens around the place and they don’t all show the same thing, so the chances are, you’ll find your favourite, sport/club on TV - if it’s being broadcast. There’s decent ale on the hand pumps - Pride and Landlord when we were last there and, naturally, there’s Guinness. There’s a range of single malts (over 25 at least) to choose from and one of them will be on offer as “malt of the week”. Even if you’re not a sports fan, you’ll still enjoy the atmosphere, it’s a jolly place and the landlord and staff look after everyone in the pub. Tucked away, off the main Camden drag, you’ll find the Sheephaven Bay a welcoming pub that’s worth seeking out. (new photo to come)
