Sheepwalk, Leytonstone
FancyaPint?'s review...
Recent troubles have altered this pub - for the better in our opinion - and concerted effort on the part of the dedicated staff seems to have cleared out the unsavoury elements. And thankfully it's no longer painted a hideous shade of blue. It's still a strange mix of country pub and Victorian elements, including stained glass in the windows, a good-sized bar and a lovely clock integrated into the carved fire surround. There's darts and table football, but nothing on the taps to shout about beyond decent Guinness. Comedy nights and live music, tellies to watch the sport and a jukebox in the corner mean there's plenty to keep the punters entertained. There's pizzas if you feel peckish and the friendly staff are always ready to please. It's a far cry better than the Wetherspoon pub up the way, so give it a go.
