This one's a victim of its location, being surrounded by light industry, the Lea Bridge Road and council estates it has no real catchment area - you have to make an effort to come here. Even the nearby Hertford Union canal doesn't help, as people walking along the towpath will encounter the Princess of Wales first and most likely stop there. There's an ordinary range of beer on offer (although we don't know what was normally on the hand pumps as it was all off) and Sunday lunches. Maybe the disco on Saturday nights brings them in, but apart from a handful of locals, we were the only people in.
