Ship, Fitzrovia
FancyaPint?'s review...
The Ship is a quirky little pub with an idiosyncratic (but hardly surprising), seafaring theme. It's a lively place during the week - a popular afterwork haunt for people in the area. The beer is pretty average, with only Directors supporting the real ales but the service is friendly and attentive. Brass nicknacks hung around the place, the copper fireplace and the rosy lighting give the place a cosy ambience. There are also a couple of big screens for the sport, if you're looking for that sort of thing. It is another one of those places that seems only to be open at certain, undefinable hours and never at weekends. But if it's open as you happen by, do drop in - you won't be disappointed.
