Studio 6, Blackfriars
FancyaPint?'s review...
Located moments from ITV's London Television Centre is Studio 6, but rather than playing host to shows by Ant & Dec or Parky it is actually a bar and restaurant. Essentially a small, brightly painted two-roomed shack, it's set amongst a bustling row of shops, restaurants and bars on Gabriel's Wharf. An abundance of picnic tables can more than double its capacity during summer, though be warned that any with cutlery on them are reserved for eating, including some attached to the bar area. A sign would be nice. The beer selection isn't overly inspiring and you'll more often than not get a plastic glass, but it remains a good spot for a drink outside. The interior is also fine (excluding the world's most pathetic mirror ball) but those who suffer from claustrophobia would be advised to avoid the toilets. Maybe that's why the throwaway glasses are provided.
