For the longest time we've wondered how this place survives. Next to the excellent Enterprise, which draws in the punters perfectly well, its pretty depressing and desperate venue both inside and out and is often deathly quiet. Some of the furniture looks like it was salvaged from the nearby Wetherspoon - chipped brown wooden tables with those inlaid brass numbers used for ordering food - in a bar which doesn't serve food. The range of drinks is both basic and expensive - the music is pretty poor, too. Zero pint rating? Very nearly, especially compared with the local competition. The saving grace is the lower back area which hosts live music gigs, some good, others less so.
Now closed - it's a coffee shop

From Chalk Farm ,exit left and walk down onto Chalk Farm Road. The bar will soon appear on the left just passed the Enterprise.
