The Albany, Regent's Park
FancyaPint?'s review...
The Albany is a pretty decent pub. The beer is fine - up to Cask Marque standard, no less - with a selection of guest ales on the hand pumps as well as Leffe and Hoegaarden for those in a continental mood. The service is good and there's a stronger emphasis on food with an improved menu, including lunch and evening snacks. It's had another makeover which the clientele seem to like, but it's a little on the noisy side when its full. Also well established, the basement is known as Low-down and has comedy on every night, interspersed with regular club nights.
