The Alma, Angel
Scary-looking sports pub on Chapel Market. It's titchy, with hardly room to swing that proverbial cat and a prime locals venue. We didn't stay long, to be honest, as we didn't feel that welcome. There are definitely better pubs nearby.

nasty nasty nasty. the picture here says it all - dreary, dirty and clientele match.you could hardly call this pub welcoming or diverse. unattractive and unappealing on every level.a poor review will not cause upset at this pub as they certainly do not welcome strangers

How to find the The Alma pub
From Angel: cross Upper Street toward Liverpool Road, but turn left immediately and go down Upper Street. Bear left into Liverpool Road and then take the first left into Chapel Market. The pub is a short walk ahead on the left.
