When visiting a pub in the heart of Belgravia on a Friday evening, one might be forgiven for fearing it will be a pocket-wrenching experience in a gut-squeezingly busy atmosphere. Not necessarily - in the case of The Antelope at least. This cricket obsessed pub is barely a cover-drive away from Sloane Square station yet had bar space for all-comers. But that is not for lack of quality: the choice of ales was Fullers-heavy but reasonably priced, while the highlight of the food was undoubtedly the 'sausage on a stick', coming in at a stomach-satisfying 75p per, er, stick (only for a limited time in the evening). The music was oddly out of place - we were entertained by the 80s pop selection - but it was decidedly in the background. Overall a delightful place to spend a few hours.

Good pub.

Changed little since I first went there many years ago and none the worst for it.
Can get busy after work but never as overpowering as some of the others around there.

A great little pub. Nice decor, some good beer and great food. We went on a Sunday lunch time and it was quiet when we arrived but filled up a little with a steady flow of all sorts of people - young and old, male and female, friends and couples. The beer was a range of about 5 Fullers and guest ale, very nice too. They had a selection of papers to peruse while supping. I had the roast beef Sunday lunch and must say it was one of the best pub Sunday roasts I have had. Highly recommended.

I visited the Antelope for the first time a few weeks ago, and found it to be a most delightful little place. Steeped in history, pleasantly decorated, engaging staff, and best of all, a wide selection of (perhaps slightly overpriced) lagers and Fullers' ales. The food was not half bad either! As an avid pub-goer for the last 15 years, I can say that I shall be visiting again soon for a pint or two of London Pride.

The Antelope - a good selection of Fuller's (although they were closing for their holiday so only had Discovery on) and a couple of small interesting areas in the pub. Friendly staff but they did kick us out a bit early and we then walked through the regulars with full pints after being told a little abruptly that "it was time to go". Had the feel of a 4 pinter, just seemed to be lacking something.
