The Auctioneer, Greenwich
FancyaPint?'s review...
Appropriately part of Mitchells and Butlers' Scream chain, scream is what you want to do, and many people seem to do, when you walk in this place. Packed with "boisterous" young drinkers intent on getting pissed on the expensive booze on offer, this place is as charmless as a warehouse. It's full of TV screens to keep you occupied while you down your pricey pint and that's about as entertaining as it gets. A drinking den for the uninformed, Tony Blair would despair.

How to find the The Auctioneer pub
Greenwich: turn left out of the station and walk along Greenwich High Road for a short while - you'll soon find the place on your left. Cutty Sark: there are two exits from Cutty Sark DLR station, which makes giving directions tricky. If you can see the Cutty Sark when you exit, turn right and walk up Greenwich Church Street, if you can't, cross the road in front of you (Creek Road). Follow Greenwich Church Street around the corner (against the flow of traffic) and turn right into Greenwich High Road. You'll find the pub a little way along on the right.
