The Bear, Wembley
FancyaPint?'s review...
The Bear's obviously in competition with the Wetherspoon next door - not necessarily a bad thing, as the price of a pint is competitive and reasonably priced. It's not an identi-kit pub, though, with lovely leather banquets against the wall and several levels of seating, combined with a pool table. True, as well as the cheap beer, it has a reasonable menu, several screens and plenty of room for the hoards that arrive for matches and events at the nearby Wembley Stadium and Arena. It's also got plenty of lager and assorted spirits for those who don't like beer. All that aside, it's still a good place to go and very civilised it is, too.
