The Beaten Path, Kennington
FancyaPint?'s review...
A self-styled 'Bar & Restaurant' this one may be, but we're a long way from named chefs and the latest gastropub trends. We're talking a solid, old-fashioned Irish pub here: a well-stocked bar, fittings harking back to the Emerald Isle, all looked after by an amiable landlord. A decent enough drinking spot anywhere in London, but for the Walworth Road it's a Godsend. We didn't manage to chance the 'restaurant' part of the equation (tables for dining at the back of the pub) but given the homely country kitchen-style dresser, we'd imagine to be as traditional as the rest of the pub.

How to find the The Beaten Path pub
Kennington is the closest tube station, but traversing through its back streets to the Walworth Road can be a confusing venture. Best bet is to catch one of the many buses listed below from outside Elephant and Castle tube.
