We weren't particularly impressed with the Grove Tavern's reincarnation as the Beauchamp a few years' ago. We felt it was a pretentious, cynical and somewhat meretricious move upmarket. We were even less impressed to find on our most recent revisit, that the entire place was closed for a private do. It makes it very difficult for us to review or recommend a place that we can't get into and if it means that we can't even say with any confidence that the place will be open, our only recommendation is to stay away. If you're a local, it's probably less of an issue, for the rest of us, there are plenty of other places to enjoy, not too far from here.

This place has given up all pretense of being a pub. Walked in and straight back out again on a sunny early evening as had morphed into a dark and dingy nightclub. I think I spotted a Kronenberg tap inside and the only other intelligence am able to impart is that the tables on the pavement were populated by elderly Knightsbridge spivs drinking bottled beers.
RIP
