The Beehive, Marble Arch
FancyaPint?'s review...
Marylebone is home to some of the friendliest pubs in London and this little bar is a prime example. Perhaps conversation is induced by the small interior - it's hard to avoid speaking to your fellow drinkers and the staff when there's so little space. Like a few other pubs in the area ( the other Beehive for instance) this one's had its Changing Rooms makeover and is now aiming at a more upmarket crowd. This doesn't mean you can no longer get a decent pint, as they still offer Pride and Timothy Taylor's Landlord for those discerning fans of real ale. And while the rest of the beer offerings are all fairly average, it's definitely the cheery atmosphere and friendly staff that makes it worth coming along.
