No longer the over-hyped Greyhound, the new bar is working very hard to distance itself from the gastrocity that preceded it. It's only been open a matter of weeks and now done out with modern furniture and retro flocked wallpaper, it's almost a temple to 60's modern iconography. It's going to do well with the young trendy things, and the friendly and efficient lady behind the bar bodes well for the service. The menu's reassuringly unassuming, as well as reasonably priced, and the promise of Sunday Roast is always a good sign. It's still early days, but the prognosis is good for breathing new life into an old dog.

How to find the The Bellevue (ex-The Greyhound) pub

From Clapham Junction main station exit turn left and left again onto Falcon Road and walk until you reach the large cross-junction. Carry on over straight ahead onto Battersea High Street and the pub will soon appear on your left. There is also a smaller back exit from the station straight onto Falcon Road, if you care to find it.
