The Bird's Nest is looking more than a little worse for wear nowadays, but it still carries on its cultural traditions. The Deptford Film club meets here every couple of weeks, there's live music every so often and odd bits of art adorn the walls. It's a friendly place too - bar staff and punters usually happy to have a bit of a chinwag over a pint of decent enough beer. It must be said it's not one you'd go out of your way for, but if you're in these parts it's probably your safest bet.
