An often intimidating place packed with long-standing regulars. Unless you're one of them, we don't think you'll find too much to enjoy here.

Just spent a fantastic weekend in London with great friends, and this place was the setting. Good cheap beer, amazing jukebox, friendly staff. What more could you want?? well if you want more, its a stones throw from Finsbury park tube and the actual park, lots of places to eat nearby (24hr bagel place!)Its a proper pub for proper people.

I've only been to this pub twice, but it is the most welcoming place ever. The beer is very good and the jukebox is awesome. I can also highly recommend the railing outside as a fantastic Santa spotting place.
If you're looking for a proper pub, not some gastro, meet your clients kind of place, then The Blackstock is perfect.

This is a proper pub. Not a trendy watering hole or a ten-a-penny identikit franchise boozer. Myself and some friends were made completely welcome by both the staff and "intimidating" locals. If you like cheap beer, an excellent jukebox and staff who are up for a laugh then there is no other place like it.

This place is just awesome.Just had one of the best weekends drinking in London ever and we never left this place. Great music great staff and the landlord is a quality bloke. If you like people planking on table's acting like meerkats then this is the place for you if not come along anyways as it is just the best pub in Finsbury if not London.
