The Bridge House formerly called The Anchor is under new management and not before time. The new landlord is making a great effort to provide a good pub service to the public. Selection of beers and snacks are good, the toilets are clean, the beer garden is lovely and quiet to relax in after work on a summers evening for a cool drink with friends. Bar staff are pleasant and friendly as are the regular customers. Weekends are very lively with Premiership sports and live music. Great atmosphere. I felt comfortable and at home in front of the large open log fire during the colder months. A pub I'll definitely visit again as it's local to the train station and other forms of public transport. Highly recommended.
