The Bull, Edmonton
FancyaPint?'s review...
Considering the location isn't fantastic, this pub isn't half as scary as it could've been. Fundamentally a working class local, it's easy enough to get on with your drink in peace and relative comfort. It appears to have been recently refurbished, as everything seems clean and neat, with a profusion of orange upholstery. Service was silent and unemotional - perhaps as our faces were unfamiliar - but the locals were animated enough, with plenty of discussions putting the world to rights. They have plenty of screens (don't come on Saturday afternoon if you don't like football), sell lots of lager, have a functional beer garden and some kind of late licence disco which is frequented by girls wearing a lot of make-up. Handy if you're off to the nearby Millfield Theatre, but there's nothing particularly appealing here for anyone but the regulars.

How to find the The Bull pub
Phew - not a fun walk (or worth it, really), but from Silver Street Train Station (One rail) turn right out of the exit and follow Silver Street round, as it banks off to the right of the North Circular and alongside Pymmes Park. You'll get there in about 10 minutes.
