The Bull's Head, Kew
FancyaPint?'s review...
It's been gone a few years now, but we still have fond memories of the sticky floored boozer this once was. Probably such a thing was thought uncouth for such a prime site and after a sprucing up it became a Chef & Brewer pub. And so it remains, and try as we like, we just can't warm to the place. The wide range of real ales certainly appeals but a good pub needs more than that. It's olde worlde but overly so: like many other Chef & Brewer pubs, it's a slight air of artificiality that takes hold. This one seems geared more for punters after food rather stopping in for a drink and a chat though the food itself is nothing to write home about. It's a perfectly pleasant enough pub, but we've tried and we just can't find this one's heart and soul.

How to find the The Bull's Head pub
Exit Kew Bridge station. Cross the road, head towards the bridge, then take a left onto Strand on the Green (path running along the river). The pub is about 10 mins walk away, past the Bell and Crown and City Barge pubs
