The Cambridge, situated just off the roundabout, is probably one of the first places that a newcomer sees when visiting Crystal Palace. Although it has some beautiful tiling on the exterior, this pub is a rather bare and unwelcoming place that is unlikely to attract any new customers. It is situated directly opposite a bar called Westow House and the two places neatly symbolise the polarities of partial gentrification in Crystal Palace and many outlying parts of London. In this case, you'd be better off over the road.

Avoid this place at all costs. How places like this survive is a mystery.
