If you're worn out by the shopping hordes of Oxford Street and need a drink, the Champion is a good place to go. It's a beautifully appointed pub with a lovely exterior and fantastic champion-themed stained glass windows. It seems that Sam Smiths is annexing the West End for Yorkshire and taking the best looking pubs to boot. The service is excellent, even when it's busy, and on a warm evening towards the end of the week it can get very, very busy. During shopping hours, however, it's a fairly relaxed place and if it's crowded downstairs, there's always the upstairs bar. One other good point to note is that (like a good number of other Sam Smith's in the area) you can find that most traditional of pub games: a dart board.

As the reviewer says, you know what you're going to get with a Sam Smith pub booze-wise. They also run pubs that look like pubs, which is nice, but this goes that extra mile with the stunning stained glass. Amazing to sit in a musty boozer on a sunny day and have an amazing view
