The Chancery's settled in nicely after reopening a few years back. It's very sports-oriented, which is not really a surprise once we'd spotted the multiple screens and a big screen in place to watch all the major sporting events. The food looks good and sourced from the local area, although we didn't get the chance to try it on our last visit. There's also a selection of real ales, apparently all guests, on the taps and a decent wine list. It's obviously found its place in the local area and that's not a bad thing in this day and age.

Don't go here! Awful pub. Rude landlord and staff. No atmosphere. A bit depressing. Shame really, could be a really nice pub.
