Pubs named after early twentieth century female social campaigners are few and far between, so this one's recent(ish) relaunch and renaming has certainly marked it out. We're not sure if the lady in question was much of a frequenter of alehouses in her day - we're pretty certain she wasn't - but for those that have followed in Charlotte's footsteps as residents of N19, this is a handy local pub which has settled in nicely as the successor to the, er, Settle Inn. On the face of things, there hasn't been too much change to the interior (the outsized 'Lord of the Rings'-style furniture is still in place) but what has changed is an increased desire to add interesting drink selections (the gin, for example, is sourced from a local distillery) and a stronger emphasis on DJ nights. Add this to friendly bar staff and you have a pub very much moving in the right direction. (New photo to come).

so pop down order from a vast array of drinks - the sit down with a plateful of food and chill in our relaxed bar

Just re-discovered this place after previously visiting it at the Settle Inn.

Lunch was really excellent, beats lots of the Highgate places hands down and the chef is really lovely which makes it even more special. Wide variety of dishes - Tibetna, Thai, Nepali, Mongolian and more standard pub fare but all excellent quality and will be going back for Friday lunch on regular basis to exorcise the Archway horrors!

Excellent pub with good selection or beers and real ales. Friendly and welcoming staff. The kitchen is now run by a Tibetan chef who cooks some wonderful Tibetan dishes but also many fantastic western fare. You

must also try his Sunday roast which is fantastic. In short a great pub that gets better by the day, give it a try
