A US- and baseball-themed pub with areas set aside for pool-players and TV-watchers. Everything but everything is cherry-coloured and the walls are covered with vintage posters for Delta Airlines, the Bronx Expressway, and such Americana. More importantly, there are nowhere enough places to sit, and barely enough ledges to rest your pint upon should you thereby be obliged to stand. Unlike some pubs we know on the Becontree Estate, the Cherry Tree isn't an absolutely terrible place (it has a certain vivacity, for one thing), but it is just a bit naff.

This pub has not got an american theme and hasn't had for a few years. This pub has Sky TV, 2 Pool Tables, 1 Snooker Table, a Function Room, large car park and seating area. It has the capacity for around 400 customers, approx 200 in the Function Room and the same the other side. This is a local community pub that has a pretty good atmosphere, with pool on a Monday and a Wednesday and womens darts on a Tuesday, with Poker on a Thursday. In my opinion the best night to visit is a Friday and with the occassional band or DJ night at the weekend, there are many more places round here that are worse to visit.
